Crypto software and venture capital firm Animoca Brands announced Friday the purchase of Notre Game, a gaming firm that incorporates physical and digital items into its titles.   Animoca Brands now owns 100% of the issued capital for Notre Game, marking yet another acquisition of a blockchain gaming startup for the firm. Otherdeed #59906, the eighth rarest virtual land piece from Yuga Labs’ Otherside metaverse project, sold for a record 625 ETH ($1.5 million) on the NFT marketplace X2Y2 on Sunday. Gaming startup Untamed Planet raises $24 million in Series A funding

Untamed Planet, a blockchain-based gaming startup, raised $24.3 million in a Series A funding round led by Animoca Brands.  Untamed Planet uses the game creation platform Roblox to recreate natural environments, incorporating non-fungible tokens (NFTs) built on the Solana blockchain. Further, the startup donates between 50% and 100% of NFT sales to conservation organizations. Soccer media company OneFootball has raised $300 million in a Series D funding round, the Berlin-based startup announced on Thursday. The blockchain-focused gaming firm Animoca Brands announced Monday that it acquired the French game developer Eden Games, creator of car racing-focused titles such as GEAR.CLUB, F1 Mobile,  Need for Speed: Porsche and V-Rally.  Formerly known as Eden Studios, the firm was a part of Atari until the early 2010s.
